It only rains when you want to climb a tower

Hi Everyone,
For my last day in Copenhagen I went and saw the Little Mermaid.  It's difficult to get a photo with her because she is always mobbed by tourists. But I waited patiently for my turn, and so did Harold.

I was hoping to climb to the top of the tower of the Church of our Savior, but it started pouring rain.  The church tower is unique because the staircase is on the outside of the tower, and when it rains it becomes too slippery and dangerous to climb, so instead of photos from the top, you get a photo of the tower.

While I'm less than thrilled about the rain, Harold is happy he finally gets to wear his raincoat.

I spent the rest of the morning at the National Museum of Denmark.  I spent most of my time in the Prehistoric section, because the museum has a fascinating display of bog bodies, bodies from the iron and bronze age that were preserved in Denmark's bogs. Don't worry, I'm not including any photos of mummified remains, instead you get a photos of giant Viking rune stones, and the ceremonial head wear used during bronze age religious ceremonies.

In the afternoon I toured Copenhagen City Hall. The grand entry hall is rather impressive.

This afternoon I boarded another overnight ferry.  I'm pretty apprehensive about the journey, especially with the wind and rain all day, however this time I have motion sickness meds, and will be showering as soon as I get on the boat, so I can hopefully get some sleep.
