Art Museum, Zoo, and Dinner with friends

Hi Everyone!
I've had a fun and busy day in Seattle!  First stop of the day was for breakfast and coffee.  Harold was very excited that we got a "piggy" latte with our waffle.

From there it was off to the Art museum, They had a fascinating video art exhibit about empathy, and these amazing painting made with tiny dots by an aboriginal artist that I really enjoyed. There is also life sized tree art exhibit hanging from the ceiling of the lobby.

Harold really liked this 6 foot tall mouse, and he was very excited to see a Jackson Pollack painting.

Also, here is a fun self portrait from the china room.

We spent the afternoon at the Woodland Park Zoo, and Harold got to see his family!  We arrived just in time to see the hippos come out of the water, and spend the afternoon on land eating some leaves, and napping in the sun.

I also enjoyed seeing the zebras and the penguins.

I have some friends who live in Seattle, so we met up for dinner. It was fantastic to catch up with them, and after dinner they drove me around the city and gave me an incredible tour.  We saw the Freemont Troll

and even though my photos were taken through the car window while driving, some of them turned out rather well.
