Seattle Sights

Hi Everyone!

Today we took a ferry ride to Seattle.  We had to drive about 2 hours to get to the ferry station, and we were very grateful for the smooth highway after yesterday.

Our first stop in Seattle was for coffee! I hadn't had my morning coffee yet because we ate breakfast in the car. Harold loved the latte art in my cup.

From there we went to the famous Space Needle. It is currently being renovated, however you can still see most of the city.

Then we went to the Chihuly Glass museum, which showcases the glass artwork of Dale Chihuly. I really loved this museum, and wish I could have spent more time here.

From there we headed to lunch at the Crab pot, a restaurant recommended to me by friends who live in Seattle.  Harold is a little concerned that he might be eaten by my friend's lunch.

We wandered around the harbor, and decided to ride the observation wheel.

Then we visited the famous Pike's Place Market, and famous fish market where they throw the fish.

At this point, I'm saying goodbye to my friends, I'm staying another couple days in Seattle, and they are heading farther north in Washington state for a family reunion. The hostel I'm staying in is close to Chinatown, and a metro station.  Harold loves to take his picture with Chinatown archways, so he was really excited to find this archway 100 feet from the Hostel.

I'm pretty tired, so I'm spending the evening at the hostel, and hopefully going to bed early.
