Hi Everyone,
Today I took a flight the the Greek island of Santorini. I'm staying in Fira, but visiting some of the other cities on the island. Harold and I had an awesome gyro for lunch, before wandering around the city.
Fira has a beautiful Byzantine style church, that has elaborate woodcarvings on the furniture.
I rented a car while I'm here, and driving here is a little crazy; there are narrow winding streets all over the island, and the buses are too big to fit in their own lane. It's nice to be able to go wherever I want, whenever I want, so this afternoon I drove to Oia. It is so beautiful here!
It's nice to be able to just wander without any real agenda for the day. I went out to some ruins to enjoy a view of the city and the sunset.
I stayed to take some photos of Oia at night. Again, it is so beautiful here!
