The Davises go to Washington

Hi Everyone!

We arrived safely in Washington yesterday. Today we started our sightseeing adventure on a hop on hop off bus tour.

We saw the Smithsonian Castle, the Washingon Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial.

We went to the National Archives to see the Constitution, and walked past the J. Edgar Hoover FBI building.

We went to Madame Tussaud's wax museum where there is an exhibit of all 44 presidents.  It was interesting to see how tall (or short) all of the presidents were/are.

There are other historical figures at the wax museum, including Einstein.

I find the Metro system a bit more difficult than the London tube system, but so far we seem to be navigating just fine.
