Hi Everyone!
I've had a busy two days! Yesterday I took Harold (my travel "companion") out sightseeing in an attempt to wear myself out. We saw the friendship archway in Chinatown,
the Vietnam memorial,
Lincoln memorial,
Washington monument, FDR memorial,
MLK memorial, Jefferson memorial,
the White House, and the Einstein Memorial.
Yes, I did a lot of walking. I told Harold that his selfies don't look as good as mine because his arms are too short, but he insisted on taking them anyway. He's also insisting that I include one or two on this post. I got out of DC just after the Pope's arrival, and thankfully missed all of the traffic and metro problems that are sure to result from the street closures and the additional 250,000 people in DC to see the Pope.

My flight to London was not as long as I thought it would be. I only got about 4 hours of sleep. I did get to see all the famous landmarks along the Thames as we flew into Heathrow.
This afternoon I went to the Museum of London. It chronicles the History of London from it's beginnings as a Roman city through modern times. The last time I was there I didn't have enough time to see the second floor of the museum, where the more interesting artifacts are, such as Oliver Cromwell's death mask, and some amazing vintage dresses, and a fancy coach from the 1700's.
This evening I took my tripod out for some night photos of St. Paul's Cathedral,
and the Millenium bridge. I was rather disapointed that the Bridge wasn't as colorful as last time. Maybe I was there too early. The London eye is a different color than it was last time, and I didn't know how long it would stay that way, so I trekked out to see it.
I stayed out much later than I planned, so hopefully I will sleep tonight. I'm happy to be back in such an amazing city.
