Glad I brought a tripod

Hi Everyone!
Today we went to the Washington National cathedral. It's an interesting mix of Gothic style, with modern influences.

The cathedral was built in the 20th Century, so many parts of the cathedral commemorate important events in the 20th Century. I really liked the Space window, commemorating the first moon landing, there is a moon rock embedded in the stained glass.

From there we went back to the National Mall to see the Lincoln, Korean war, and WWII memorials.
We Found the Arizona section of the World War II Memorial
Then we saw the south view of the White House, before going on a night time bus tour.

While I enjoyed getting off the bus to take photos, I didn't enjoy that the tour started an hour late, and lasted an hour and a half longer than it was supposed to. It was way past my family's bedtime! I got some great photos with my tripod!
