A most happy day at a Tudor Palace

Hi Everyone,
Today I took the train out to Hampton Court.  Last time I was there I spent most of my time at the Tudor Palace,

and I didn't have enough time to see the Baroque and Classical sections of the Palace.

The Classical sections of the Palace look similar to Versailles, and were built around the same time.

Yes, that is an orderly line of geese walking in front of the palace. It is interesting to see how much styles changed in the 150 years between the Tudor portion and the Classical portion.  Hampton court is rumored to be haunted, and while I don't believe in ghosts, the palace does seem rather eerie once everyone is gone, and the sun is going down.

This evening I walked around the Queen's Walk along the river near the London Eye and Parliament.  I took some photos of the now renamed Elizabeth Tower, though to Americans it is known as Big Ben.  Big Ben is actually the name of the bell inside the clock tower, so there is your fun fact for the day. Cheers!
